(Photo at left: Tom and Ed's first major project was the advanced positioning and marketing of the Audubon Institute's Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans. They continued the marketing of the total Audubon Institute for several years after the aquarium's opening.

Recent Projects:

Colossal Cave Mountain Park, Tucson Arizona.  Management and Operations of Colossal Cave Mountain Park.  Development, review and selection for a qualified operator for the operation, maintenance and re-development of an historical park in Tucson, Arizona. A 2,400-acre natural resource site that includes an historic show cave and ranch house, campground, horseback and mountain biking trails and special event area. Result: Selection of Ortega National Parks, an operator of over 10 national park operations in the United States.  ColossalCave.com

Southern Arizona Raceway, Tucson, Arizona.  Request for Proposal (RFP) package for the development and operations of a professional and sanctioned multi-use road course and racetrack located in rural Tucson and serving the southwest United States. Result: A multi-talented racetrack architect and operator created a business and development plan to build a new racing complex near the Pima County Fairgrounds.  Southern Arizona Raceway

Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Performance Audit and Recommendations, Tucson Arizona.  Organized and directed complete performance audit of the Metropolitan Tucson Convention and Visitor’s Bureau in conjunction with the MTCVB Board of Directors.  Results: The development of a list of comprehensive recommendations and follow-up methodology to improve the performance of Tucson area “Destination Marketing Organization”.  Results: All governing bodies adopted the recommendations and have implemented them within two years and incorporated them into their annual scope of work.

Tucson Area Ice Facility.  Developed a Request for Proposal (RFP) to find a developer and operator of a professional ice facility for sports and recreational use.  Results: Executed the RFP and found two possible developers and operators.

Skating Rink RFP

Southern Arizona Attractions Alliance, Tucson, Arizona.  Project associated with the development of a coalition of attraction in southern Arizona to combine resources to market this unique collection of attractions to attract incremental leisure visitors. Results: The organization began in 1998 and flourishes with over 115 attractions and associate membership. TucsonAttractions.com
